I smell sulfur....

Via Michael Froomkin's Discourse.net, a link to this, in The Nation: War Signals? According to author Dave Lindorff, apparently the Bush administration has ordered a naval strike group to the Persian Gulf to stand watch near Iran. Quoting Col. Sam Gardiner:

"I think the plan's been picked: bomb the nuclear sites in Iran," says Gardiner. "It's a terrible idea, it's against US law and it's against international law, but I think they've decided to do it."
