25 years of viruses?

Boing Boing posts about what was probably the first computer virus, launched 25 years ago by a Pennsylvania high school student. Hmm. That student was Richard Skrenta. The same Rich Skrenta who was founder CEO of news/forum aggregator Topix.net? The same, according to his Wikipedia entry.....and this Topix blog entryon his stepping down....
